This Frozen Banana Bites are the healthiest snack ever. There are made with only 3 ingredients: banana, strawberries and low fat plain yoghurt. A good alternative to the usual chocolate dip strawberry as this time it is banana dip in sugar free yogurt with strawberry puree!
My husband love frozen banana bites covered with dark chocolate. I was looking for a healthier recipe for a while and today I found the first strawberries in the supermarket. That is how I had the idea to make a banana-strawberry puree and to use it onto banana bites covered with yoghurt.
Frozen yoghurt is delicious and the strawberry banana puree add enough sweetness to this snack. It is naturally sweeten with the fruit puree.
First I cut slices of three bananas – about 1 cm thick. I transferred them onto 1 cup of low fat unsweetened yoghurt. Then I used a fork to transfer the banana slices onto a plate covered of baking paper. In another bowl I mixed 6 strawberries with one banana. I transfer the fruits puree into a piping bag and I decorated the banana bites. Place the plates into the freezer for 2 hours. Then remove the frozen banana bites from the plate and transfer them onto a zipped plastic bag.
